It is wonderful to have spiritual fire in your soul. Jeremiah described it as "His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones." The Emmaus disciples said, 'Did not our hearts burn within us while He (Jesus) talked to us... while He opened the Scriptures to us?" Like a smoldering campfire, Timothy needed to stir up the flame. Let's be red hot! How? Jesus said, "Do the things you did at first." What did you do and not do when you were first saved? How often were you in the Word, in Church & fellowship, in prayer & witnessing?
