“‘NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU’, JESUS SAID. ‘GO AND LEAVE YOUR LIFE OF SIN.”
John 8:11
The Lord Jesus treats the woman caught in adultery with perfect balance of love but holiness. We tend to either have an attitude of license that sin is no big deal or the opposite of harsh judgment or incredulity. To keep us from being proud or judgmental, he tells us to “drop the stones.” Also, to keep us from practicing sin He tells us to “leave your life of sin.” God is love, but God is holy. So may we be.
