Jesus teaches a shocking truth: we will have very bad tribulations come into our lives. However, they may not be a punishment or our fault. They might just happen to us because we live in a fallen world surrounded by fallen people. The good news is that contrary to how we might feel, we are not going to die. Because Jesus overcame the worst that the world and the devil could throw at Him, so can we overcome through Him. He actually wants us to "BE OF GOOD CHEER".
