Stress is a leading cause of heart disease, ulcers, hair loss, weight gain, and mental health issues. However, the Lord Jesus taught believers a discipline that relieves stress and begins the day with peace. Before you rush off or check your phone or even read the Bible, spend time in His presence. Pick a quiet place for your "closet" and first worship, then listen, and then "CAST YOUR CARES UPON HIM FOR HE CARES FOR YOU." (1 PT. 5 7). He is in your secret place and will reward you for going there to be with Him.
