"THE LORD IS WITH YOU, O MIGHTY MAN OF VALOR."
Judges 6:12
God sees each of us positively and by our potential, not as others see us or as we see ourselves. The Angel calls Gideon a "mighty man of valor", even though he is living in fear. In doubt he will famously test God with a fleece. Jesus does the same thing when meeting Peter saying, "You are Simon ...You shall be called Cephas" (which is translated, A Rock)." Five verses later in John He meets Nathaniel and calls him "A man of complete integrity." (John 1:42,47). What would God say of you?
