Romans 12:18


Recently a high profile Christian woman died without her only son being called to her deathbed because of their fractured relationship. This is sad. Our verse encourages us to do everything in our power to "live at peace with everyone." Jesus said to "Reconcile quickly with your adversary" not allowing bitterness to fester. The verse admits that sometimes we do our part but the other party isn't willing or ready to reconcile. Sometimes all we can do is forgive and stop talking about them until things change. "Guard YOUR heart above all, for it determines the course of your life."
